The challenge
Kensington and Chelsea Valet started on £500 a month on Google Ads, the minimum, returning an estimated 3x. Its Google Search ads first showed on 13 February 2026.
What we did
The team analyses the campaign data constantly, tests different approaches and optimises the campaigns, and compares the business with similar competitors. As the return improved, the budget grew with it: to about £1,000 a month, and from October 2026 to about £1,370 a month on an always-on campaign.
A second version of the campaign started on 5 June 2026 with one goal: collecting leads. It counts four actions as a lead: a click to book in the online calendar, a tap on the phone number, a WhatsApp conversation started from the ad and a contact form.
It was paused and restarted along the way, then extended past its original end date to use the budget left over. Each week the team reports what changed. The latest found fewer clicks but a higher click rate, so the traffic was better qualified, and suggested a few simple changes to the website.
The result
Since working with Digital Gurus, leads are up 65% and sales up 42%. The estimated return from Google Ads has risen from about 3x to 5x.
From 5 June to 4 September 2026 the second campaign cost £2,464.93 including our fee, for 638 clicks and 84 conversions: about £29.34 per conversion. 13.2% of clicks became a conversion.
